Medical imaging in diagnostic studies has evolved as a result of significant contributions from a number of different disciplines in basic sciences, engineering and medicine. Computerized image reconstruction, processing, and analysis methods have been developedfor medical imaging applications. Domain knowledge has been applied for developing models for accurate analysis and interpretation.
