A very successful maritime executive faces the crisis of his life when he is accused of being responsible for one of the worst maritime disasters in recent times. The day of the final verdict is only one night away. Spending the deep, long night alone, he decides to examine his priorities and re-discover the bits and pieces of the past 45 years of his life. His introspective mood finds him asking himself questions he never thought he will ever need to answer. What follows is a journey into the self, dwelling on the successes of the past, the guilt of the present and the fear of the future.

Sabyasachi Mohanty was born and brought up in Orissa, India. He graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai in Engineering specializing in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering in 2002. In 2007, he graduated from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad specializing in Strategy and Finance. From 2002 till date, he has lived and worked in different organizations in different countries.
He now lives in Mumbai, India.
