We have changed. Prior to the 15th of April, 2007, ours was a website that was dedicated solely to the trade of used books and audiovisuals. However, thanks to your feedback and requests, we now are able to offer an extended range of services. These include:

• Ability to request just about any book: We have networked with a large number of publishers and booksellers around the globe to bring you just about any book you request for
• Wide variety of catalogs to choose from: Covering subjects ranging from library sciences to women's issues, in a variety of languages
• Publication services: That include print-on-demand, editorial and translation services and graphical designs for your books and covers
• Sourcing services: If you are a researcher, student or librarian seeking to purchase books on particular topics, let us know and we will source them for you

We, of course, still facilitate the trade of used books and audio-visuals. We are committed to our goal of making books available for everyone and we believe that we can accomplish that by facilitating the re-circulation of used books and magazines.

Queenie R Fernandes, qualified with a Masters degree in Economics from Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, teaches Economics at several management programs and, while away from Dogears Etc., is engaged in the research of factors contributing to growth in rural areas in India. As part of the United Nations Volunteer Program, she has conducted several projects for various organisations. She as also worked on the India-Irrigation Impact Study Project sponsored by the International Water Management Institute (IWMI), Colombo, Sri Lanka and has several publications to her name. At Dogears Etc., Queenie scouts for new business opportunities, attends to all legal matters concering the website and is responsible for developing relationships with publishers and handling sales and requests.

Leonard Fernandes, an MBA from The Fisher College of Business (The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, USA) currently freelances as an IT/Business Analyst and was previously employed as a business analyst at BankOne, later JPMorgan Chase, at its office in Columbus, OH and, prior to that, with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and National City Bank. He has also worked with Tata Infotech Ltd. (now merged with TCS) as a software analyst. While not working on the website, Leonard teaches Decision Sciences and Operations Management at the Sri Sri Institute of Management Studies. Leonard can be contacted at [email protected].
